This cache is easily accessed from the bike path, approx. 2 miles west of River Oaks Park.
03-07-13, the cache was replaced with a camouflaged igloo drink container.
This cache was originally intended to replace nearby "Kern River Bed", but we wanted to make it just a little more accessible. It is close to the bike path. You don't have to cross the river bed to find it.
Crew 217 was a Boy Scout group of older (age 14-20) boys that meets in Bakersfield.
