Located just off a walking trail.
Sir Andrew MacPhil was an important figure in Island history. Google him. His homestead is now an historic site, with a tree nursery, walking trails, and a summer educational program. There is a summer restaurant in the old house.
Park at N46 09.589 W062 49.284 You should be at the two stone pillers that were rescued by MacPhail from McGill University in 1907. They once adorned the entrance to the MacDonald Engineering Building in Montreal.
Take the trail that begins between the pillers and go North till you see two small stone pillers on the right. They mark the entrance to a path. Take it, and about 70 paces in, you will see a lone pine on your right. The cache is close by.
The container is a screw-top bottle containing a couple of rare-earth magnets and a Spanish coin.
