For anyone old enough to remember, there was a store that spanned both sides of the street next to the bridge. Myrtle Mills was a department store back in the 1950's-60's. You would have to get from one side of the store to the other by traversing an underground tunnel. The store is gone but the bridge still remains. Take a minute & enjoy the great view of the Farmington river!! You do not need to climb anything or put yourself at risk on the bridge. A lot of cachers have said that walking down the stairs and looking up at the bridge makes the cc easy to see. There are a lot of muggles walking and riding bikes nearby so use stealth in replacing. Be careful opening and closing cache container, it is attached by velcro. BRING A PEN. Parking is not allowed on the street but there are many parking lots nearby.
