Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are dummy - don't go there. The real coordinates for this cache used to be held in "The Two Towers" cache GCYR9Y, which has now been archived, as one of the towers is no longer visible from that cache.

This "Hidden Habitat" cache is now a simple traditional cache at S 43 35.508 E 172 39.595

Hidden Valley is a small side-valley off Bowenvale Valley, hidden from the main valley track, but it can be seen from other tracks and from Victoria Park. This valley is one of a number of locations on the Port Hills where the City Council are doing a lot of replanting of native shrubbery to recreate the original vegetation cover and provide a habitat for wildlife. They are also doing some trapping to minimize the possum population. Hidden Valley can be accessed from tracks leading off the Bowenvale Valley walkway.

This cache is a 400ml camo screwtop containing logbook, pencil, sharpener, and a few trading goodies.
