Geocache Description:

The hunt starts in the village to pick up some clues and continues to a little known view point overlooking the Vale of Aylesbury, Ivinghoe Beacon and Edlesborough Church. Its about two miles total and could be attempted by mountain bike in dry conditions only (dismounting on footpaths). There is one major road to cross and care should be taken if hunting with children. The above co-ordinates are for convenient parking at the village green.&l

YOU HAVE £1,000,000, THREE LIFELINES AND SIX HINTS.

The clues in this multi are more akin to a traditional (pre gps era) type of treasure hunt. Some of the clues are cyptic and some lateral thinking may be required...... First consult the nearby map on a wall. The Bell P.H. = A , The Travellors Rest P.H. = B.

Now, back to the green, starting from the three arboreal corner markers, diagonally traverse the green on a heading of 57 degrees for 285 metres until you find a similar group of three. Go through the gate and walk a further 61 metres on a heading of 45 degrees until you find a yellow corner pole number D (0) E. You should have passed an Ivydene (= C).

From this point walk North West for 170 meters until you spy a maid purveying velocipedes. Her emporium dates from (apparently) F G H J.

Next find a bench nearby that you cannot sit on. (At this point you may need to ASK THE AUDIENCE as there are sure to be plenty of people around the store). The yellow cover is numbered K over L.

Now go to N 51 52.039 W 000 35.FJE. What is this? O.K. 50:50 - It’s a house or a pub. The number of degrees is M N P.

Next go to N 51 51.CHH W 000 35.KCK and count the number of pairs of sky facing south lights (= R).

Now go to N 51 51.NHG W 000 35.BRM. On the way use the "beller" to find wxyz = T. You might need to PHONE A FRIEND. At the co-ordinates the number of X’s facing South–West is U and the number of H’s facing North-West is V.

FINAL ANSWER?

The location of the cache is N 51 51.LCN W 000 35.EVB but first get directions from a pointer at N 51 51.AUA W 000 35.TVM. Please keep to marked bridleways and footpaths.

How much money have you got left? Leave your anwser in the log! Now we really don’t want to give you this cheque………..

Happy Hunting.

PLEASE REPLACE THE CACHE IN THE ORIGINAL HIDING PLACE NOT OUT IN THE OPEN.
