Geocache Description:

Llanrhidian Marsh Series

Series Details

This is the second in a series of four caches placed by iain4724 & Gower Explorer along the marsh road connecting Llanrhidian to Crofty on the Gower Peninsula.

  1. Salthouse Point (Crofty)
  2. Llanrhidian Marsh (Crofty)
  3. Llanrhidian Marsh (Wern-halog)
  4. Llanrhidian Marsh (Llanrhidian)

In attempting this series of caches the tide should be considered. I do not believe that you are in any danger but it is possible that on some days the tide will be too high for you to access the caches because the march road can flood.

To avoid disappointment I suggest that before attempting this cache you check the tide times for Swansea (scroll down) on the BBC website and do not attempt any of the caches within an hour of a high tide which is predicted to be greater than 9 Metres. Please note that times are given in GMT all year.

Specific to this cache
This an easy and quick cache with ample parking a few hundred feet away.
