Beyond Cedar Hill Traditional Cache

This is located in the extreme northeast corner of Newington, in the woods on the traprock ridge.
The easiest approach is through Cedar Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is open 7am until dusk year round. You can park on the bridge just beyond the gate if you have time to take a stroll through the beautiful grounds. For the shortest walk, park at the top of the paved roads, N41 43.200 W72 42.420.
If you are visiting the X-Ray Vision Helps cache, no need to drive farther. Take the trail into the woods that is just south of that cache. The trail connects with the dirt road to this cache.
Follow the dirt road into the woods. It's an easy stroll. About 200 yards in, the road forks. The left fork leads to a nice overlook with a view across to the next ridge, well worth the detour.
The road runs to the right of the tree dump area deeper in the woods. It gets fainter as you go, but it will take you close to the hide.
The cache is an ammo box.
