Geocache Description:

Above coordinates is where your journey begins. Park at the waypoint below and walk the abandoned road. (*Note* You must access parking from the Webster side of Perryville Rd.) Remember to bring plenty of light. You may find clues along the way to the final hiding place.

When I was growing up in this area, I remember my parents driving this road many times. It was freaky even then! It only got spookier as the years went past and was finally closed. So I figured this would make an excellent night cache for those who seek adventure as the nights get longer!

The cache is a Lock and Lock box. It is an October theme for Fall and Halloween. From parking head to the starting point. You will have a trecherous journey finding your way around a few scary obstacles! If you happen upon any fencing, it is there only to keep what's in it from getting out! Unfortunately the well worn paths around it shows it didn't do it's job retaining the creature. If your mind isn't spinning with fear already, you will surely need to find your 'balance' in order to continue the journey. It is about a .3 mile walk until you will be able to see the first reflector (FireTack). If the spirits throw you a DEAD end, you may have to go further down the OLD SPOOKY ROAD!

Each reflector will lead you to the next. There are a total of 4 reflectors and when you find the fourth, from there you will eventually find a set of two together marking the hiding spot of the cache.

We have tried to stock the cache with quality trade items and would appreciate an attempt to maintain that quality. Take a camera (with a flash of course) to capture any spooky happenings along the way, but of course nothing to give away the secret. Please take care re-hiding so the container is not visible.
