Geocache Description:

Located at Quiver Pond on South Shore road. The hike is about three-tenths of a mile. It seems longer though because of the "picking" around mud and blow-downs.

When facing the pond, head through the woods on the LEFT following a deer trail. Depend on your GPS. Some bushwacking is involved because there is no REAL path. We figured out that it is easier to walk close to the water, keeping Quiver Pond in sight.

Look for beavers and evidence of beavers. You'll see lots of small trees that have been chewed down.

This cache should be accessible in the winter with snowshoes, or if you like to hike through snow. The cache is elevated about 3 feet off the ground.

Planted with a Garmin 60CSx w/ SiRF and WAAS.
