The cache leads you to an old homestead that is on a new trail in Alderfer Park
The cache is an ammo can. Best parking is at the upper lot of Alderfer/3 sisters park. The cache is about 1.5 miles round trip as the crow flies. Daisy-dawg and I took a longer loop route to get there, and we stopped and smelled the flowers and still had plenty of time to
do this after work.
Please cover the cache better than you found it, and I hope you enjoy your walk in this new part of the park.
Please stay on the trail until you get within 100 feet of the cache.

I've been here before when the road was still open to traffic, and people still lived in the cabins.
Can you imagine how peaceful it would be to live here?
