Geocache Description:

Town park setting. Nice park. Good paths. Could be done in your Sunday Best.

Situated near the centre on Bangor, Ward Park has something for everyone. Play area, formal gardens, activities, and wildlife.
This is a 37 acre park with a river running through it with a pond in the middle. There are plenty of ducks and geese waddling around, with other birds housed in breeding pens. Feel free to feed and admire them.

For the sportier there are tennis courts, putting greens and bowling greens.
The park contains Bangor’s war memorial and a gun from a German battleship captured during the First World War.

Please look after children as the park is surrounded by quite busy roads and a river and pond. There may be muggles close by so use your geocaching discression.

This is a micro cache containing log piece of paper and pencil. Not really designed for trade items.
