The cache is located near Chestnut Mountain ski area a short distance off of a hiking trail approximately 470 feet above the Mississippi River. The view over the river is worth the trip.
This is a relocation of Chestnut's Treasure much closer to the main trail.
Park in the Chestnut parking lot at N42° 19.109, W90° 23.600 and walk (or ski) south toward the South Point Lookout at N42° 18.896, W90° 23.996. A trail can then be followed to get you close to the cache.
The cache is an ammo can.
