A cache on rugged cliffs.
This cache is located at an abandoned clifftop quarry in the south west corner of Jersey. From the cache site there is a great view to the west, along jagged granite cliffs, towards Corbiere lighthouse.
From the small roadside parking space, walk down the track & continue along the path to the cache. The main coast path crosses the end of this track & you can enjoy great walks, either west to Corbiere, or east to Beauport. WARNING- If approaching the cache via the coastpath, DON`T FOLLOW YOUR GPS IN A STRAIGHT LINE, it may point you over a sheer drop into the quarry!
The cache is a 1 Litre plastic box & replaces the old Lizard Quarry cache (GCQ1AY) which was a short walk from here. (until it took up sailing!)
