BlueRajah: I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please notice that I asked you some time ago to check this cache, and no action was taken. I had hoped that the cache may be replaced, or a note placed that you were going to go check on this cache in the near future.

Geocache Description:

Magazine Cache

The Magazine Cache is a fairly simple cache to get to, you can drive a vehicle to within a few hundred feet of it, with an easy hike on a paved road, with some elevation gain.

The cache is the standard ammo can, large enough for magazines to fit comfortably. The cache is filled with numerous magazines, that should be enjoyable reading.

Purpose this Cache:
  1. Bring your favorite magazines about anything you like. Please, no sexually oriented magazines. I only ask that you swap as many magazines as you take.
  2. This cache has a lovely view of the valley. Take a moment to take in the beauty.
  3. While you are visiting this cache, you may also want to visit "Between a Rock and a Scar Spot by Garmon & Soph" (GCM48M) located at N 40° 20.015 W 111° 40.306, which is located about 600 feet north east, at the top of the hill. This location has an even more excellent view of the valley.
  4. Please pick up at least one piece of trash to help beautify our landscape.

Have fun, and keep on caching!

Directions (only if you feel that you need them): To get to the cache, take 1600 North (in Orem) east to Skyline Drive (north the old WordPerfect complex). Follow Skyline Drive until you get to 1810 North (dead end) and follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac and park here (N 40° 19.828 W 111° 40.443). Follow the paved utility road (motorized vehicles are not allowed) and you will come to a sign for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. The cache is fairly close to here.

This cache is in memory of the original Magazine Cache (GC2543)
