Broken Tooth Spookache - Night Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pofe: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

This is a night cache located at Sega Meadows Park in New Milford. Do it if you dare. The above coordinates will take you to the park entrance. Please park in the lot on the other side of the bridge.

NOTE*** This cache was set in the fall. I recommend saving it for the fall or winter months. This area is very wet in the spring and as I just found out - the grass if very high in the summer *think TICKS*. If you do this cache in the summer please put on bug repellant and I would raise the difficulty at least a notch. As with most night caches the glints are much more difficult to see through the foliage.
The other advantage of waiting till fall is that TM and I will put all the "Spooky Stuff" back.***

This cache was set in the hopes of being up for Halloween. We were going to just call it spookache but when Happyscrapper and triguy1995 tested it for us, she tried to spook him and he jumped and accidently hit her with his mega flashlight and broke her tooth. This cache is not for the faint of heart or tooth.

From the above coordinates go into the park and look for the start of the white glint trail. We recommend flashlights with a long beam. Follow the white glint trail. When you get to the meadow, stay on the trail. The next glint is quite a ways. You can see it with a strong light.

You will come to a set of 2 glints, look around but no micros here, maybe just a little surprise.

Eventually you will come to a spot with 2 glints one on top of the other. The first micro is nearby and has one half of the coordinates you will need.

Continue on the glint trail until you find another set of 2 glints one on top of the other. This is the location of the second micro with the other half of the coordinates.
These coordinates will take you to the start of another glint trail which will take you to the final. This is an ammo can filled with halloween fun stuff again marked by 3 glints.

To get out turn left to the Northeast and walk about 50 ft. This will take you back to the trail you came in on.

Please hide all pieces exactly as you found them. Make sure glints are showing. This is a high muggle area in the daytime.

There is a halloween first to find prize hidden near the final.

If you give us some advanced notice of when you plan to do the cache we will try to make sure everything is "set" so that you will have the full spookache experience.

We hope you enjoy the cache as much as we did setting it.
