This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You must learn the legend of Ssid Sseleriw to find the cache, which is a waterproof plastic container.
Ssid Sseleriw led a brief, but geeky life. The poor guy was not very good in social settings, and had been constantly teased thanks to the superfluous “S” that began both his first and last names.
Ssid loved any kind of gadget he could get his hands on. He loved tinkering with devices, figuring out how to tear them apart and reassemble them as best as possible. He loved to invent things, and show them off to his family.
Unfortunately, Ssid’s young life came to a screeching halt after he had taken up some sort of geeky hobby. Sadly, his remains were discovered underneath a mysterious mound of items consisting of a guard rail, lamp post and a hollow tree, and he had suffered puncture wounds from flying film canisters and magnetic key holders. We may never know exactly what led to his ultimate demise.
In any event, legend has it that some people have been able to locate a treasure that Ssid hid in the months before his casualty. Elders say that if you visit his old neighborhood with just the right kind of geeky equipment, you can actually figure out coordinates for his stash of goodies. The coordinates of his boyhood neighborhood are posted above. If you have the right kind of geeky equipment, there is no need to even leave the car.
With the proper coordinates in hand, you’ll be led to an area where Ssid’s old school once stood. It was in these hallowed grounds that Ssid learned all sorts of geeky things in his homeroom, Room 80211B. And you’ll find an old playground nearby where Ssid used to dream of equations and such.
If you need to stop your car to ponder the first clue, feel free to use the driveway at 739. Please do not disturb the other neighbors, although they have been made aware of this cache and what you're up to. And do not attempt to hike from Ssid's neighborhood to the cache site unless you're insane -- you can drive to the final location, with a very easy hike from there!
Enjoy the hunt!
5/2/2014 UPDATE: The cache was apparently muggled yet again, which is strange for this particular area. As much as I hate to downgrade a cache from a full-size cache to a micro, I figure it's the only way to keep this one going. I put a micro within a few feet of where the original was hidden. Please rehide it with the existing camo in hopes that it's not pillaged again :) Thanks!
