This is a rehide of the original which disappeared.
It is not far from it's original hiding spot but far enough away
to make it a new geocache to find.
Just North of the Dam is the Bur Oak Nature Trail. This Nature Trail was developed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, a Boy Scout Eagle Project, and area Girl Scouts. Brochures are available for the trail at the parking area or at the office up the hill. There are signs and markers along the trail that together with the brochure make a very informative and fun walk.
The cache is now a mini-cache. The cache is a clear plastic bottle. Please leave real small items if you wish to trade. There is a logsheet, a pen, and a few trading items. Please rehide the geocache carefully so it is not crushed.
Enjoy the large Bur Oak trees and interesting rock formations south of the geocache.
