Ishpatina Ridge Picnic Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

res2100: Thank you everyone for attending the event. It was such an awesome day in more ways than one. It was really neat to see all the different ways that people took to get to the picnic on top of Ishpatina Ridge and great to be able to share the weekend with a great bunch of friends, including my many new friends. The stories, comments and logs for the event were awesome and a pleasure to listen to and read. This event turned into my favourite cache experience ever and this was also a chance in a lifetime for me to take part in this adventure. Memories from this weekend will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Thanks everyone again and I look forward to reading the rest of the logs once everyone gets around to posting them.

If we ever do a picnic like this again, Maple Mountain might be a good choice to consider for next year...we'll see. I'ld do it by canoe if we went up there. I am open to suggestions.

Geocache Description:

Join me for a picnic on top of Ontario.

Ishpatina Ridge is the highest point in Ontario. It is 690m above sea level.

How you get here is up to you. Float Plane, helicopter, parachuting, hiking (good luck), canoeing, or any other way you desire. It ain't easy, but once you get here, the rewards will be great.

I offer you a great view of Ontario...what more could you ask for. Meet at the posted coords at any time in the afternoon. Stay as long as you want. Bring your own food and drinks for a picnic. And don't forget your camera.

See you at the top!

Also, if you are interested in joining me on the adventure to the top, let me know.
