Geocache Description:

Another in the "Welcome To" series, this is not the typical "cache & dash" style though.

Congrats to The Brown7 on the FTF!!!

Clarence Center NY is the site of one of the first Grist Mills in Erie County. The mill was constructed in 1842 by Robert Brown, and successively operated by Eli Herr, Abraham Ganz, Daniel Blocher, Alexander and Oscar King. The mill was destroyed by fire in 1888.

To find the final, go to the coordinates listed above and, using the two signs that give distances, solve the following;

A. Using the sign that points roughly North and South, divide the distance to the Town listed in the middle by the distance to the town listed on the bottom. Then divide the distance to the top town by the result.

B. Using the sign that points roughly East and West, The total number of letters in the bottom town name minus the number of distances on that sign that are repeated.

C. There is one town that has the same distance listed as the number of letters in it's name, use that number.

D.On the sign pointing North & South, subtract the number of letters in the bottom town name from the number of letters in the middle town's name.

E. On both signs, how many town names have exactly 8 letters?

F. How many place names on the signs start with the letter "B"?

The final is at N 43 00.ABC W 078 38.DEF
