Geocache Description:

Shaolin Mystery Micro Multi

This is an easy mystery micro multicache.

This cache is located near the Shaolin Kempo Karate School where Geoegans of all sizes study Karate.

The Shaolin temple was first built around 495 A.D. by Chinese Emperor Hsiso Wen. It was in the great Shaolin Temple in the Songshan mountains of central China that Buddharama, a sixth century Indian monk, first introduced Buddhism and a form of meditation and fighting techniques. He developed breathing exercises based upon animal movements; mostly exercises for strengthening and conditioning the body. He taught the monks these exercises to purify their bodies and develop their inner strength. Later he taught the movements of the animals which were for self defense purposes. Over a time, the monks changed and perfected these movements, gearing them toward fighting. This style became known and feared as the art of Shaolin Temple Boxing. Buddhism and Shaolin Temple Boxing or Shaolin Chuan Fa were the Shaolin Temple's main legacy to the world. So it was in China that the philosophical and religious systems upon which many martial arts depend were first created and nurtured. The teachings of Lao Tzu, Confucius and Buddha were blended with the development of the various Chinese martial art systems which spread to many other Asian countries.

To find the cache will not require anything but stealth. Part 2 is a microcache with a combination lock. Part 1 (coordinates above) provides the combination. Please relock container and replace exactly as you found it.
12/31/06 - Part II coords have been checked and corrected coords are now listed
04/19/09 - A hint for anyone with GPSr trouble - Part I coords should bring you south and west of the cross roads.

Do not force it or break it open. After logging your find please reset it to 000 and slide the cover back. Do not try to place any swag in the container. Thanks for your cooperation. Happy Caching!
