Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches located in the Ida Carrington Lowell Land as part of the Bethany Land Trust. A map can be found at www.bethanylandtrust.org/ida_carrinton_lowell.asp

We placed these for Halloween but they should be enjoyed all year long. This series won't be a long hike but decided to place these as individual caches in honor of my father who thinks that if you're going to place a multi-cache why not make them individuals to get more cache credits... so we did. The trails are fairly level & should be enjoyed by all. There are 5 caches in the area. The parking is located at the end of Cedar Rd. (N 41 25.272 W 073.00.981). There is an easement located just off the driveway to 45 Cedar Rd. Follow the mulched area along the rock wall until you get to the opening to the land trust land. I have talked with the homeowner & she is aware of these caches being placed. Just respect the property owner's propery. The above coordinates get you to the parking. You must find the coordinates to this cache by finding the two other caches here that have the partial coordinates. Snow could make this more difficult. You will be looking for a small ammo can stocked with lots of Halloween goodies & stuff for the adults. I forgot to put a FTF prize in there but will make it up to you at a Gate Cachers event.
