To find this cache you will have to drive to the Miller Lake trailhead. However, the bridge has since washed out/or been removed. Therefore it is an additional 4 mile hike to the trailhead, or either a 2 mile (very difficult) cross country hike. Either way, once you reach the trailhead, you will have to hike an additional 2 miles to find the cache location. This cache is going to require some serious hiking, and some steep elevation changes. The cache is located about 6000 feet elevation, so it is only a seasonal cache. During the winter months a good 10 feet of snow will cover the cache. The cache is completely water proof. However, you will be rewarded with an amazing view, a prestigious mountain lake, and some awesome loot once you find it!
Details about the actual cache? Well, all I need say, it is stocked with rewarding loot! A fairly good sized (water-proof) container. Approximately 2 feet long, with a 3 inch diameter, screw on lid.
This isn't your mother's cache, stuffed with child's toys. Considering the difficulty, we decided to make it worth while.
