Troll Lord Magnar - Boston's Mine Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Troll Lord Magnar - Boston's Mine to find out about the status of this cache on October 15, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Boston Common. Easy paths to walk or wheel chair. Easy one to find.

This is a Troll Lair. This means that it has a Troll located in it. It should not be removed from the cache. It is it's home. I have setup several of these around the area. Each with a different Troll. If you find the cache, please take of picture of you with the Troll and post it. I have started a web site to track them. It is at www.TrollSpotting.com.

The Troll's name is Magnar.

The area that this cache is in is dedicated to World War I. Looks like it was built when it was the "Great War". Spend a little time and check out the momuments to our hero's. The cache is hidden in the area. One of the monuments has a hole to the left of plaque. It is NOT in there. To many sharp points. The cache is black Altoids chewing gum container.

Bring a pen, just encase the pencil disappears.

UPDATE: After losing this one a few times, I upgraded the magnets on it. I went from those wimpy refidge magnets to some ultra powerful ones. It takes a little strength to get it out, but at least it will not fall out on its on as in the past.
