Geocache Description:


This cache is located at the little-known Lake County Forest Preserve Hiking/Dog Sledding Trails area. The gate is open from 6:30 AM until sunset. Go figure...dog sledding trails in Lake County, Illinois.

Anyway, it's about a half-mile hike on beautiful inter-locking green grass trails to the cache. You are looking for a camouflaged military ammo box that contains? Bring stuff to trade. You don't have to bushwhack here (maybe) if you stay on the trail and wait for your opportunity to get in there. Please yield to dog sledders in the winter and look out for "Mush" on the trails!
