the cache is located along a ridge-top road in butte county. it is one of a group that i call the "neal road series." all caches are near the road, you can drive within a few steps of them.
i was a naval aviator in the korean war, a test pilot, and an astronaut. i was mission commander of the apollo 11 moon landing on july 20, 1969. as i stepped onto the moon's surface, i stated that "it was a small step for man, but a giant leap for mankind." who am i?
