Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of caches located in cemeteries.

This cache is located in the Bigelow Cemetery. It's a small cemetery with the most recent burial taking place in 1928. The adjoining area is now a golf course but at one time, the Bigelow family owned 353 acres near here!

The cache itself is a small decon container with a few small trinkets, log book and pencil. There is a dirt access road just west of the cache site, however please do not use it. It is for the golf course. Parking can be had roadside right in front of the cemetery itself. As with all cemeteries in Michigan, please do not visit after dark. Hours are sunrise to sundown.
