Nice hiking trail by the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The trail is well maintained, and trail map is now listed on the sign.
Trail head is located off the overnight parking lot.
The trail is usually not very busy since the trail it self is not listed on any maps (at least not yet) that we have seen. We have yet to see anyone hiking on this trail when we go. Watch for wildlife, deer, eagles and porcupines, even the occasional otter when you see water.
The cache is a rubbermaid clear plastic container.
Start up contents include: pkg. of dice, scotch tape, assorted Disney erasers, pencil with stamper topper, emery boards, binder clips, stickers, Jr. Trooper badge pin, band-aid case and craft beads.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Roger Jasinski of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Permission has been approved.
