Geocache Description:

We drew a circle with a radius of 6 miles centered at our home and then looked for areas where we could place caches. This is cache #6 of this project.

We placed a cache in Moss Landing (GCTM3N), in February, while on vacation. A local Monterey Bay Area cacher, el Jim, has been using it to launch travel bugs and introduce folks to the joys of caching. Periodically I check el Jim’s profile page to see what he has been doing – caching-wise. He recently used the type of secret code indicated in the title of this cache to place a cache. It looked interesting and I thought I’d bring it to Yolo County.

As with most puzzles, the coordinates above are merely an indication of the area where this cache is located. You will use the degrees and minutes given above for north and west and the puzzle solution will complete the coordinates for the cache.

Subtract 0.4 from the west puzzle answer before doing any division. Then, you can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

Due to landscaping issues, the cache is now located about 15 feet north of the original ground zero.
