The Mighty Sherando Warrior has left a legacy to be discovered. Please leave the image of the warrior in the box to be enjoyed by future braves who dare this journey.

Sherando was a fierce Iroquois chief who fought off the advances of the Virginia coastal tribes and who camped frequently along the headwaters of the Shenadoah River’s South Fork.

Today, valiant youths in the Shenandoah Valley carry on his fighting tradition!
