This is in one of the Lemont Township Park District parks. Use the Park lot for parking. Cache has log book, writing items and small trade items.
One day I was traveling through Lemont Township and noticed this park. I had never noticed it here before so I assume it is pretty new. I checked geocaching.com with the parking coordinates and found to my surprise that no caches were hidden here yet. Wizard2083 and I went back and found a likely hide spot for a new cache. This is our first placed cache, so please let us know how we did. Bring your own pencil/pen.
Bambrick Park is a sport field park. It also has a nice walking/jogging trail and PLENTY of parking.
When I brought this one back up on 10/26/2007 I replaced the container with a larger one. It has room for small trading and/or trackable items. Thanks Panther in the Den for the container. It's been sitting around waiting for the perfect time to be used...and now it has been.
This cache was originally placed in celebration of our new first grandchild, Abram, who was born 10/26/2006. Since then Team Redpenny01 has an additional 3 grandchildren. It is also to celebrate us finding over 100 caches.
Only use the Parking lot to get to this cache as the boundaries to the North and West are CITGO refinery property. Rating based on Geocaching.com rating system. Cache is only accessible when the park is open.
