Stones Creek Spore Multi-Cache
nursemate: Due to numerous landscape changes and what seems like an endless number of first stage replacements having to be placed , we have chosen to archive this hide at this time. There will continue to be 3 other hides out here in the game lands and this will open up an area for someone else to utilize for another. We want to thank all those that have taken the time and effort in searching out this hide for the last few yrs. [:D] Continued Happy Hunting to all.

This is a two stage cache located in the Stones Creek Game Lands area. This is a 2900 acre track of land bounded by Hwy 17, 210 and 172. There are a few different entrances to this
area , none of which connect except by trail as far as I can tell, but different maps are showing different things. Check link for

The cache is located closest to entrance off Hwy 17 at N34 33.819. W077 29.500 and is on north bound side but is accessible from both ways. This entrance is gated but is open during hunting season from 9/1 to 3/30 with hunting open except for Sundays and holidays. If open it can be driven for most of the way in to the cache. If closed ( foot travel is encouraged on sign ) it was placed within easy walking distance and total walk is about 1 mile ( round trip ) from gate and there is parking room at the entrance area. You will not be far off the hwy so you shouldnt run into many in this area.
The first stage of this multi is a micro located at the above coordinates and will probably be a bit more difficult than the final. It is not far off the gravel road , and contains the coordinates for the second stage reg cache which was retrieved from Beenthere309's South Of The Border Spore Cache (GCWX27)and is a medium plastic container.The original container had to be changed due to water tightness problem, but the original contents remain the same. Please sign log and replace both hides as you found them or better. There is an original and added FTF prize present , so for that person , please take with you and congrats.
Take a walk if you get the chance and view the water areas for water fowl and all of natures best. Take a camera and / or binoculars with you. You never know what you may see. There is a small drop to the water so if you have kids with you beware.
