This cache is situated in Cowdray Forest, which lies between Crawley and Balcombe. It is on privately owned land, but the owners, Paddockhurst Estate, have a notice board inviting the public to walk here. It is a favourite spot for local dog walkers. There is also a car park, co-ordinates shown below. This is accessed from the B2110, just west of its junction with the B2036, about 1/4 mile from the Cowdray Arms Pub.
I could not get a very exact fix with the GPS due to the trees, but you should have no trouble finding the cache if you use the additional hint. The cache is hidden about 1/2 a mile from the car park and you will need your wellies!
