Geocache Description:

Ile des Soeurs has been torn from the Island of Montreal, and you must complete the "First Aid Frenzy" series by correctly answering each question in order to reveal the location of "The Final Cut"! If you do so, your heroics will save the island from certain death! The cold Saint Lawrence River has preserved it thus far, but it won't last for much longer!

The "First Aid Frenzy" series can be solved 1 of 2 ways:

1) At your own pace (no time restriction)

2) Time trial (hence the "frenzy" in the title).

If you choose to compete in the time trial, please do so in the order of the caches (1-6), record the time in each logbook, and post your total time (and method of travel such as walking, biking, skiing, cart-wheels etc..) in your final internet log (the 6th cache). Please note that "First Aid Frenzy- The Final Cut" is NOT part of the time trial. The top 3 times in each category (method of travel) will be posted on the site!!!

Team trials are highly encouraged (it's so much more fun to run around an island looking for treasure with some friends)!

Remember to record the answers for each question to reveal the location of "First Aid Frenzy- The Final Cut".

Question: As you walk to the next cache, you are drawn to the beautiful scenery and you can't fight the urge to be a part of it. You jump off the trail and roll around on the ground absorbing all of natures wonders. Of course, the one place that you just HAD to jump into is a poison ivy patch, and you begin to panic. What is the best treatment following exposure?

    • D) Remove all clothing that touched the plant, and thoroughly wash area with soap and water.
    • E) Scratch off all blisters
    • F) Rub affected area with tomato juice
    • G) Do 100 jumping jacks to neutralize the urushiol (the chemical found on the leaves of poison ivy) with your sweat.

The partial coordinate corresponding to the correct letter can be found UNDER the lid of this cache!
