A chance to put faces to names and swap geocaching stories.
This event cache has been set up because I know there are a number of 'new' cachers on the West Coast and I'm interested in meeting some of you. It's also a chance to discuss some of the trickier caches that some of you might be struggling with and hopefully will be a chance to meet some cachers from out of town as well.
I plan to set up a geocaching 'game' where by I hide a series of waypoints for teams of cachers to find. Each team will do all of the waymoints in a different order, with one of the waypoints eventually being set up as a new cache for you to find again some time in the future.
Meet at the listed waypoints at 11:00am Sunday 17th December.
This event will be held regardless of the weather conditions.
If conditions are really really shocking, I'll find an alterate location and update the web page accordingly. I'll list my cell phone number as the encrypted clue so that anyone without web access can contact me for updates if the weather is bad.
BYO Picnic lunch. Note that there are no cooking facilities at the site, but that BBQs and beach fires are allowed (assuming that no firebans are put in place prior to the date of the event).
