Geocache Description:

Submitted for your pleasure, this is our first cache placement. We chose Lockwood Park, which is maintained by the Rockford Park District, for its beauty and bustle of activity. This park is host to numerous activities in the summertime. There is a large area with horses, and a large play area for the kids. I might suggest parking near the horses and starting your hike there. This should be a easy hike, as most of it is on hiking / snowmobile trails. Depending on your approach, this should be an easy find, without any bushwhacking. You are looking for a ammo box that was initially filled with an all weather log book, an pen and a pencil, a pack of crayons, a child safe letter opener, 2 Matchbox cars, 2 flashing safety lights, a small frisbee, a small firefighter, a notebook/GPS/PDA screen wipe, Fire Flyer TB (QEYQ5Q), and a waterproof disposable camera. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE DISPOSABLE CAMERA. I placed the camera in the cache for you to record your find. When the camera is full, I will retrieve it and post the pictures. My GPSr showed the accuracy to be around 10 feet, so my coordinates should get you close. Enjoy the hunt.
