Geocache Description:

A special thanks to the Park Ranger at Brushy Creek for allowing me to place this cache.

Hunting is allowed here, please wear Blaze Orange during hunting season.

This cache will take you to the very southwest part of the park. There is room to park at the end of Taylor Avenue. So I guess if you are looking for a hint on where to start, maybe driving to the end of Taylor Avenue would be a great idea. You can also park in the semi-circle area north of the trail head. The Park Ranger informed me that this was an old quarry converted to part of the Brushy Creek State Park. She also said those pits and depressions can hold a lot of water, so you might want to think about that when you head out to this one.

You will find the trail head at N42° 19.887 W94° 00.900 . You should not need to leave the trail until the last couple hundred feet or so.

Please remember to Cache In Trash Out.
