Geocache Description:

Small camo tupperware, short hike off of Stagecoach Road.

It's been a while since my last homestead cache. I have thought about this spot for quite some time, and I finally got up here to place a cache. The old road to the cache site continues past the cache into the backside of Rosario Park. Please do not continue beyond first sight of the first house. I ran into the owner there who was pleasant enough since I was trespassing at that point. He informed me that the road was indeed once part of the old Stagecoach route. There are wagon tracks at the very start of the road at the trailhead, but they are now obscured by someone's thoughtless dumping of about a ton of asphalt roof shingles. One of the giveaways of the homestead site is a bottle and tin can dump. Sometimes you can find old intact bottles if you rummage around a bit. Be wary, there is quite a bit of Poison Oak in the area. You should wear long pants and shoes when hiking here. If you stay on the trail you should have no problem. Looking through the break in the trees to the North East you can see the ridge where the "Road To Nowhere" cache is. Enjoy the view and natural surroundings.
