Geocache Description:

Short hike along a trail from parking area.

You can park on the grounds of the Lafarge asphalt plant in Greenwich, quite near the trail. If the gate is closed, park there instead. A short hike along a graveled path laid down by the Lafarge to the site. For a little longer hike, you can park where the railroad tracks cross the highway in Greenwich and hike up the rail line but be careful, it gets occasional use still. Many years ago, people who farmed this area could not afford a proper burial and were buried here, in the back of the property with no recognition. They are now anonymous except for the memorial and small fence that have been constructed. You can see where the graves are by looking at the ground- their names are now a mystery. The container is a small Lock & Lock with a few small items and a logbook and pencils. Please cover up when you have recorded your visit.
