You're looking for another coffee can. This one's not in a
birdhouse. But it's not on the ground either.
Local cachers are familiar with my first encounter with Mr.
Coyote. However, if you are not from around here or are new to
Geocaching and want to read about my narrow escape with a coyote,

Having Breakfast with Mr Coyote.
Now on to my new story and I’m sticking with this one too. Not
too long ago, maybe two months or so, Hikeaday and I were out in
this field on an early Sunday morning. We were checking on the
construction progress and we were standing near the large brush
pile just west of the cache. Hikeaday was watching a bulldozer to
the west that was leveling some ground. I was watching for coyotes
to the east and sure enough, two popped out of the wooded area on
the I-20 side of the field. They were about two hundred feet east
of me and I wasn't about to let them attack Hikeaday. So off I go,
yanking my leash right out of Hikeaday's hand. Hikeaday must have
turned around and saw me chasing those coyotes, because he started
blowing his whistle and hollering "NO WILLY NO". But I had those
varmints on the run and I was determined to chase them out of my
field. They ran east to the wooded area that separates this field
from the car dealer ship. As soon as they went into the woods, I
turned around and saw Hikeaday running towards me, still hollering
NO WILLY and blowing his whistle. Being the well-trained, obedient
dog that I am, I ran to Hikeaday. He was coaching me on, saying;
"COME ON, WILLY, COME ON", while patting his knee for
encouragement. When I reached Hikeaday, he was really panting.
Guess he's not used to doing the hundred-yard dash! He reached down
and grabbed hold of my leash and then I turned around and there
were the coyotes. They had been chasing after me as I was running
back towards Hikeday. Lucky for them that I didn't know that they
were right on my tail! I would have taught them a lesson or two.
The two of them stayed about 50 to 75 feet away from us. I guess
they new what would happen to them if they got too close to us.
Hikeaday might have sicked me after them! I started barking at them
and do you know what? They barked right back at me. I've heard
coyotes howl, but I never heard them bark before. And do you know
what else? Those two coyotes followed us back towards Arbrook,
almost all the way to where you parked. We barked at each other the
whole way. Hikeaday seamed at little nervous, but I wasn’t afraid
at all. And that's my story.
