Geocache Description:

John W. Flannagan Dam area.

This is the water inlet tower for the John W. Flannagan Dam. This is literally where the Russell Fork River starts. Every time I'm down here I have to stop and listen to the low rumble of the water emptying out of the lake.

To see the results of what this tower does, check out the Down by the Dam cache!

Cache small tupperware container. Original contents: Log book w/ pencil, spider, 35mm film cannister. BYOP!
