Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
About 1.5 mile hike back on a beautiful wide trail (or take the
wash - you'll end up there anyway) that starts from the parking
area. Wear hiking boots for best results (sandals won't cut it) and
bring water and a hat. Some slippery rocky surfaces, bring a couple
band-aids for skinned knees. Turn around, great views of the
east valley!!
The cache was the first ever placed by Scout Pack 478 of Ahwatukee
during our own geocaching adventure. It is a green ammo can. Won't
be seen easily from the "trail". Please be cautious not to
trample the native plants. Contains mostly toys (brand new
ones!!).
The coordinates **were** off by about 25-40 feet. It made this find
even more fun and had received lots of good feedback about the
extra little challenge. The hint contained both a hint-riddle that
takes you right to the base of the hint and the coordinates.
However, a couple people whined about the coordinates being a bit
off (which was not intentional at first) because they did not view
the hint - the coordinates have now been updated.
Have fun.
