Geocache Description:

Don't go "Postal" on me! Stay calm and on the trail to Mail Call. This one is named after Sergeant Gunny (R. Lee Ermey) and his show "Mail Call" shown on the History channel. "Now drop and give me 25 maggot or read the below mail":

This cache is located in the Strawberry Creek Nature area off of Tenbrook Road in Arnold. A beautiful place to take a walk and see the wildlife. The cache is located about .48 miles (as the crow flies) from the parking lot. After a gentle incline you will follow easy trails until you're about 100 feet from the cache, then a little bushwacking is necessary. Once at the cache you will know why it's called Mail Call.

To make it easy on you, follow the same trails as you would to get to GCTK7T (My Lost, Your Gain). Cross a small creek (no problem here) and take a little trail about 50 feet from that small creek, up the hill on the right. I've placed a 'visual' marker to help you locate the little trail. Stay on that little trail until you are about 100 feet from the cache then go fetch the mail (cache).

I'm not sure how waterproof the cache is going to be so I've put everything in ZipLoc bags including a disposable camera for you to take your pic. Be sure to turn the flash on then off when you're done. Let me know if there is any water inside please.

This park has several caches for you to find, some of which you will be going by to get to this one. Check out the others while you are there: GCX6B6, GCX6B6, GCWF5V, GCYGZP, GC1A6 (one of the oldest in the St. Louis area), GCVTBD, GCYPHJ, GCYPJJ, GCYAKA AND GCTK7T.

In the parking lot is a pavillion, grill and port-a-potty. Dogs and bicycles are welcome too. Many deer have been spotted in the park. I saw 3 by the cache site while installing it.

NOW GET YOUR HIKING BOOTS ON AND ANSWER THE MAIL!
