Geocache Description:

A nice, easy, short, two stage cache in Commerce Township's Maple Glen Park.

There is a nice bike path through this park all the way to Richardson Center. Lots of ball diamonds here too. This cache is off the bike/ dog walking trail so it should be hidden from those muggles. If it is a nice day, bring your bike for the trail. You can bike all the way to my Area 61 cache from this spot.

There are two ways you can find the coords for the final. First you may find a small metal tag close to a very large and old Red Oak. OR, you may find a small plastic container at these coords. Let me know what you find. I found a very large and healthy deer right at the first stage site. Neat!

Take a moment to study this fine tree. Wow! 250+ years old. The stories this one could tell. Looks like it made it through lots of wind storms, a fire or two and lasted longer than an old hunter that put nails into this fine tree.

The final is an ammo box. It is full of good trading stuff. It has a funny "side latch". Be sure and click it tight. Trade even or better. The First To Find Prize is a First To Find Coin to activate and call your own! Also, the cache has a coin to Stay At This Cache. Log it as a "Discover". But, leave it here for other finders to log also. Also, a prayer TB is started with this cache.

As always, park in the park and not along side of any paved roads.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

P.S. On the way home from Thanksgiving dinner we passed this area and Christopher pointed out a coyote crossing the road near Wixom Rd. Pretty neat. We don't have many coyotes in this area!
