In light of the recent rainfall and the encroaching river, we decided to move this cache to a higher and drier location. We also replaced the cache container to something more stable. Feel free to re-find for another smiley.
After spending several hours with the family on Thanksgiving this was a great place to escape to for a while.
This is a nice quiet spot on the Ogeechee River where we fished as kids. We were out doing a few caches when one of my nephews suggested hiding one here. I hope you enjoy the surrounding area as much as we did today.
Please watch for hunters. There are NO HUNTING signs but people still hunt in the area, though not usually this close to the road.
