Geocache Description:

The geocache is located in Volunteer Park in South Lyon. This is primarily a sports park. It has baseball diamonds and soccer fields. There is also a sand volleyball court and basketball court on the north end. A nice pavilion with picnic tables is there too. Plenty of parking or ride a bike in on the Huron Valley Trail System. There are not many muggles when there are no sports. The terrain rating is more for the last quarter of the walk. Watch for thorny plants.

We have an odd way of collecting refrigerator magnets from places we go. We also get quite a few from all sorts of places. Refrigerator magnets are a funky kind of urban, commercialized folk art. They can be just plain tacky.

As this geocache functions like most others, please feel free to drop off, pick up, or trade. We just ask that you follow the theme of using refrigerator magnets. Travel bugs and geocoins are welcome. They do not need to follow the theme.

The container is a rectangular, clear, Lock & Lock box with some camouflage Duck Tape strategically placed.

We take great care in creating and hiding our geocaches. If ever one of our geocaches needs maintenance of any type, please do not hesitate to contact us by posting a log or by e-mail. We will promptly rectify the problem.
