This is the story of a deserted road...
Along this forgotten stretch of asphalt, at the very end and down a dirt road, lurks a mysterious and misunderstood entity. Many years ago, when Katherine Drive was being built, tragedy struck when one of the construction workers was killed while working on the road. He was actually PAVED INTO the road, becoming part of its construction forever. The road was eventually finished, but not without some disturbing occurances. Tools would dissapear, heavy equip moved on it's own, and many workers claimed to hear mysterious sounds and voices off in the trees. When construction of the road was complete, the city of Wichita Falls decided to basically forget about it. No homes were built, no lots sold, no businesses would move in. It became a forgotten, lonely stretch of road. But not uninhabitated...
A few years back, some teenagers were down at the end of Katherine Road, doing what teenagers do. Details are sketchy, but the story goes that while the teens were making out, a screeching entity came at them from out of the woods. Terrified, the boy started the car and sped away, driving THROUGH the ghost. His body passed directly through it, and his hair turned pure white as well as his eyes. He eventually went insane and was locked away in an unnamed asylum.
It is said that if anyone goes into this wooded area, just off a dirt road branching off Katherine Drive, at night, strange sounds and voices can be heard. This cache, a camo painted ammo can, is accessable any time of day or night. But if you choose to go at night, beware. The ghost of Katherine Drive may be there with you...
UPDATE: This cache was replaced on December 31, 2007, after the ghost made off with it. Hide it well!
