MsDelilah: Unfortunately there has been no response regarding this geocache, and sadly I am forced to archive it at this time. If at some point in the future the cache is determined to still be present or is replaced, please e-mail me via the link on my profile page. If it still meets the current guidelines, we can discuss unarchiving it at that time.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

This cache is located along an old portion of Highway 95 that has been turned into a walking trail.

In October of 1998 the area below the cache slid away in a massive mudslide during construction of the new highway. The slide took out part of the old highway, the district 2 road and the Union Pacific railroad tracks. It essentially cut the county in half, schools were closed for 2 weeks and many people who lived north of town had a hard time getting to work.
This is a good cache to find if you are passing through the Bonners Ferry area and need to stretch your legs. There are places to park at the bottom of the hill or near the top. The cache is a nalgene bottle.
