Geocache Description:

Visitors to Cyprus from countries all over the world are visiting Lempa to see its archaeolgical site and the great wall of Lempa which is at Cyprus College of Art. Whilst we came to look at the Great Wall we discovered this walk which has many items of interest and scenic viewpoints with numerous picnic places and benches on which to relax and enjoy the views and tranquility. Approximatly a quarter of a century ago Lempa was a barely populated place that was long since abandoned by its original inhabitants. This changed in the 1980's with the arrival of the College of Art and Archaeologists from Edinbrough who believed Lempa was one of the most ancient villages in Cyprus.

For younger caches or those young at heart there is a play area with swings nearby. Also a great view point.

Both are close to the cache.

This cache was placed whilst on holiday, but will be maintained by relatives living close by.
