Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to my brother Tim who passed away on July 20, 1991. He was on his way back to camp after a ride in the dunes when the modified axle on his three wheeler broke and jack-knifed the front handle bar into his abdomen. He later died at the hospital in Yuma due to extensive internal bleeding. At the time, there were no emergency services at the camping areas and so his friends had to drive him to the rest stop and wait for the ambulance. I believe that had there been professional emergency services at the site (like we have today), Tim would still be alive. He had just turned 18.

Please take a moment to say a prayer of safety for all of those who visit the desert for a weekend of family and fun. And also, please take a moment to go over to the emergency services staff and thank them for giving up their weekend to ensure our safety.

Changed the cache from a micro to a small. It gets lots of action, so I thought I would turn it into a travel bug motel. Current container is only temporary.
