Geocache Description:

This is the Pleasant Valley cemetary, an old township cemetary in St. Croix County (there's a small green sign at the entrance). Please park at the bottom of the small hill just as you drive in and walk up (it's not far) - do not drive up to the top, as it's mostly grass and really not meant for vehicles (except the occasional hearse).

Many of the grave stones are old, so please take care when walking about. There are several listing the years, months, and days old the person was upon their death, which seems fairly common to list on these stones back in the 1800's. One stone is for a Peder E. Lomo, a Sergent for WI Company K in the Civil War. Another stone (set in the ground) is for a Real Daughter - Chequamegon Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

The cache is a small container with a logbook, pencil, and a couple small trade items (it's pretty snug). Just off the edge of the mowed area.

Enjoy the area - it's kind of a nice view from the top part of the cemetery.
